It’s Official! Scion Launches Drift Team with Gushi

April 12 kicked off the 2008 Formula Drift season on the streets of Long Beach under 90-plus degree heat. Spearheaded by Steve Hatanaka of Scion, the debut of the RS*R tC at Formula D added another chapter to Scion’s racing history. Yes, the rumors are finally confirmed - Ken Gushi “The Goosh,” the youngest driver to compete in D1 at age 16, is now the official driver for Scion!

Those of you who made it out to there saw the Scion crew wearing Drift t-shirts designed by Racing Code. These tees featured Scion’s RS*R tC sports coupe, which was converted into a RWD 400+ hp asphalt-burning drifting machine.
